Happy Memorial Day Weekend..

They saw their injured country's woe; The flaming town, the wasted field; Then rushed to meet the insulting foe; They took the spear, - but left the shield.

Sunday we went to Gary and CJ's and had some special play time with Great Grandpa Jerry. It was so much fun to watch the two of them play together. It was a beautiful day, we played had a great lunch and had tons of fun. We are so very glad Heather is able to meet her Great Grandpa, he's an amazing man to know.

Heather is facinated by her Great Grandpa, she loves him and enjoyed sharing her toys with him. Its a pretty amazing sight to watch a 94 year old and an 8-1/2 month old play together ♥

Heather's First Beach Trip

For Mother's Day weekend we went to San Diego. Saturday we visited Mt Soledad to see my Uncle's plaque honoring his dedication to the Marines, then we hung out with my Aunt, Uncle and cousins before heading to our friends house. Sunday was a little overcast but it burned off and we got to take Heather to the beach for the very first time. She stuck her little piggies in the big Pacific Ocean and played in the sand
