Happy Thanksgiving..
Killer Shrimp, a bungalow and a rainy day
We had such a fun weekend with our friends. Two of our friends have bdays within a few days of each other so we got together to celebrate at Killer Shrimp in Marina Del Rey. Since it is a long drive just for dinner we thought we would make an adventure out of it and get a room and check out Marina Del Rey and Santa Monica etc the next day. It was our first time staying in a bungalow…isnt that just a funny word to say LOL we needed a room with a fridge so they gave us a bungalow.. it’s a little larger than a standard room which was nice. Killer Shrimp is delicious!! the scallops are sooo good.. my mouth was so happy! They have steak for non fishy eaters too (Kev was happy) The boats at the marina were huge!! Heather enjoyed seeing the BIG boats =) It ended up raining on sunday so we didn’t get to go adventure like we planned so we headed home and played in the rain . Heather and Kev were scoping out the local paper to see what else we could check out
Heather wanted to work on her letter to Santa..
Rain or shine…outside is the best place to be
our pup loves to play with this part of a yucca plant.. between that and her logs she’s happy
haha.. this is our custom table cloth at Killer Shrimp.. black table cloths are so boring! we brought some play doh for Heather and it was the adults having the most fun with it =)
No matter where you are or what you’re doing its always possible to make it fun! so go have some fun!!!

getting ready for winter…
Winter is coming and we are getting ready for winter adventures. Last weekend it was suppose to rain all day so we built a little fort to play in.. Heather loves playing “hide” even Dingo enjoyed the fort to hide in. When we went camping a few weekends prior, our little pup was cold outside so we did it.. we bought our dog a snow suit! she actually likes it and Heather thinks its hilarious. We love to go on little adventures and last year when we wanted to get Heather a snow suit everyone was either out of stock or way over priced! So I planned ahead this year and got it early.. something must be going on because all this planning ahead has made it possible to be almost done with Christmas shopping. We are ready to enjoy the holidays, do some light seeing, visit Santa and of course play outside every time we can. Hope your holidays are starting off exciting and fun also.
Heather loves fresh apples from Grandma’s tree =)
Dingo was shouting hooray for her snow suit LOL
I instantly thought of the little boy from A Christmas Story “I cant put my arms down” even though she can put her arms down it still made me laugh!
can you tell Heather is a bit more excited about finding snow than Dingo is.. when we get to the snow our pup will be happy she has her snow gear too.

Copper City
Heather was excited about going shooting and even asked where her gun was.. but as you can tell she wasnt so thrilled about wearing the gloves... ( she didnt get to shoot a gun cuz she's to little but we were just glad she liked being there, she is learning gun safety too)
the boys mixing up some tanorite (explosive stuff) the guys think its the greatest stuff but I just didnt get it?? all it did was make a big boom..maybe next time they should put it in something to blow up? Tuesday, November 1, 2011
More Halloween Hijinks
Halloween was soo much fun!! Heather, Aaron and Dylan took us trick or treating and then we went to the park for the little carnival and then back to Aaron’s house for some yummy elk chili. The weather was perfect for trick or treating. Once the kiddies got the idea of what it was all about (which took all of 2 houses) they were telling us “we got it” and off they would go saying trick or treat and picking out a little goodie. Thankfully not everyone was giving candy so Heather gets to keep some of her goodies in her bucket.
Heather and Aaron were singing bibbity bobbity boo.. it was cute! Dylan started it since she was dresses up as snow white and said that is the song that give princesses magic
they had the trick or treating stuff under control here…
they had little games just right for our little ones to play. Actually its set up nice so each age group has their own area
Heather was oh so patiently waiting her turn for the bouncy house
Heather thought frankenstein was nice
by the look on her face you can tell she was having a blast! Heather loves bouncy houses and jumping around giggling with her friends. we all had so much fun!!
