Getting ready for Spring

Spring is in the air….We are SO ready for spring to be here!
Heather was having some fun playing around in the backyard last night. The weather has been great the past few days so we took advantage of it while we can.. you never know when the weatherman is going to throw some more spring showers in the forecast for us
Maybe I’m a little bias.. but she is so cute!! and I love her boots!
watch out.. Heather is on a mission to find more rocks! good thing we have a big back yard! (or was she running away from the crazy person with the camera ?? ) haha

Happy St Patty’s Day

Its not easy being green but it sure is lots of fun hahaha Hope everyone had a great St Patty’s day! Every year for St Patty’s day we go to Kevin’s Mom’s house for corn beef and cabbage. Its far from my favorite!! but its once a year and when you are part of an Irish family there are some traditions you should keep We put on our green and had some fun.

 Diane has plants everywhere, this is on the front breezeway.. Heather just loves fountains and the sound of water.. it was hard for her to resist not sticking her hands in and splashing around but she refrained this time…as you can tell by the look on her face it took a lot of control not to play in the water

This tree is perfect for sitting in and thinking about important stuff like.. when is my cousin getting here, I need someone to be mischievous with…

River Trip!!!

Hello March!! Its nice to have our sunshine back.. oh how Ive missed you sunshine! Kevin’s best friend Craig, his wife Regina and their beautiful baby girl were visiting from Germany so the Hannah’s were Havasu bound for the weekend.. its much closer to visit AZ than Germany heehee! (Craig's parents live in Havasu) This was the first time we were going to meet Annabella and were very excited We were only there Sat and Sunday but we got in a lot of fun!

We made a quick stop in Ludlow on our way out to Havasu to stretch our legs. There was this bench with “our flag” on it so Heather wanted to check it out  (We are proud Americans in the Hannah household and are teaching Heather what "our flag" means so she gets excited when she sees it)  

spent a few hours at the beach checking out the boats, water, ducks and whatever else looked interesting on the beach

hhmmm.. how does that song go.. I’ve got my toes in the water.. life is good today!

Its hard to see but there is a roadrunner in the tree.. Gil said they have a nest there and every night at sunset the daddy roadrunner hops up there for the night
the sunset was beautiful, the colors were amazing! and the view was just breath taking from the front patio

On the way home we had to make a stop.. someone said “I pooped” so we made a quick stop! LOL while we were stopped we played around in the dirt for a few, where there are rocks there is entertainment for Heather.. the world becomes her canvas!

I do feel very blessed every day by this little girl, she keeps reminding me every day to find joy in even the smallest things!

The Hannah’s had another exciting and relaxing weekend even though there was a lot of driving involved.. but totally worth it!
