To start with we celebrated our friend Jackie’s graduation from USC !! years of hard work have paid off and Jackie is a dentist! we are so happy and proud of her! She gave Heather her first dental check up about 8 months ago and now when Heather sees Dr Jackie she loves to show off her smile.. guess we wont have any problems getting Heather to go to the dentist This past weekend we headed to North Las Vegas for our friends wedding, it was beautiful! Crystals dress was amazing and the wedding was fun. I was proud of my little girl for being able to remain calm thru the ceremony, she liked clapping for wedding party as the came in and after the wedding, it was cute! The next day we headed down to Havasu to see Kev’s best friend and family that was visiting from Germany. They told us they are expecting #2 also! yeah! The weather was perfect! it was about 98-100 at the river which is perfect river weather, the water is still chilly but we still got in it to play. Heather found her ducky friends again and fed them about 1/2 bag of goldfishy crackers. After we were back home we took a day to play at the park, after all that driving in just a few days there was no way we wanted to go anywhere in a car for awhile
Heather made some new friends and then we went running around the park and pretending to be airplanes.. it was so much fun! The weather is finally starting to get better down here but I sure miss the river weather! Im ready for the sun to be here and these gloomy days to go away! Here’s a few pics of the adventures! for Mommy Day Heather and I made colorful pancakes.. she wanted to keep adding different colors and we ended up with some sort of blue, but they were yummy! Kev bbq’d a yummy dinner for us too, it was a great day with my family! One morning Heather decided it would be a good idea to wear Mommy’s socks so she picked out a pair with froggies on them.. they can help her hop better she said (you have to love 1-1/2 yr old logic) =) The sat before Easter we went to the park for the easter egg hunt, Heather had a great time with her little friends and made some new ones at the play ground afterwards and thankfully she wasn’t scared when we saw the Easter bunny (Im hoping that means she will think Santa is ok this year…keep your fingers crossed for that one=) ) We have been so busy lately but have made sure there was plenty of time to play.
