Halloween Hijinks begin..

Happy Halloween to all you little gobblins!  The past few years we have gone to our friends halloween party and its always fun! I am starting to get more and more into halloween.. Ive always liked it but now Im starting to love it I think because Heather is having so much fun dressing up and pretending everything is so spooky.. its really cute!
HAY!! we went to the feed store and they had all this hay! Heather was waiting to see if a horsey would come over from the barn across the way

Jackie found the cutest big bird costume and baby jenna is elmo (Aaron picked their theme for the party) Aaron picked grover for his dad but Daniel wasn’t to much for having his pic taken. Totally cute!

For Halloween we are going to the carnival at the park, trick or treat on the way back to our friends house have a little dinner and enjoy! Hope all you little gobblins have a great time out there tonight…

wiggles, giggles and trucks oh my!

Heather and her buddy Cayden went to a little class for a month called wiggles and giggles. It was a cute class and by the end Heather was really loving it! They would play, sing, do a craft and have fun but I think Heather enjoyed the park before and after just as much We also went to the off road expo and the powder puff race that weekend. The powder puff race is a race that only girls drive the race cars and it raises money for breast cancer awareness. This particular race was more important to us because a dear family friend of Kevin’s (Judy) was diagnosed w/ breast cancer and after the chemo and medicines has been given good news every dr appt… her daughter (Robyn) drove the race truck that was built by Judy’s hubby Bob and Robyn’s hubby Shawn.. Kev did the gears for them too. Kev had grown up with their family and.. well.. they are family and we went to support them Robyn  did great.. she won first in her class.. not bad for her first race!

 Brody and Heather got a delicious cupcake from Judy… they had to be the best cupcakes ever!! (we don’t give Heather this kind of stuff but once in awhile.. well its hard to resist such yummy cupcakes!)

The weekend was a blast! being with friends and having fun is always a good way to celebrate a weekend!

Travel Town

over the weekend we headed out to check out the trains at travel town. This place is really fun if you like trains. Some of the trains were not open for touring but we climbed in and checked out the ones that were The 2nd sat of the month they have more trains open for tours.. I didn’t know this until we were there Oh well we had a great time anyways! We even got to go on a little train ride around the park… it was great and Heather was saying choo-choo  It doesn’t cost anything to go in and look around but if you want to go on the train ride its $2.50 each.. what a deal!

travel town is over by the LA Zoo and if you keep taking the rode around the old zoo they have this really cool park!! next time we are going to check it out, Heather was pooped out after playing with all the trains so we didn’t stop.. but we will next time!
