I want to be...

I want to be a cowgirl!! It was dress up day at school and the theme was what career do you want.. well our little horse lover wants to be a cowgirl so she can ride horses whenever she wants. Second option is a vet but only if she can still ride horses whenever she wants!
She has changed her mind many times about what she wants to be and I try to write them all down on a list for her :) I cant wait to find out what else will be added on the list by the time she's ready for college.

more hats for Bartholomew Cubbins...

This week is Dr. Seuss week at school and one day they had to design a hat from a paper bag
Its really fun when the kiddos can let their creative side out!

All the kiddos wore their crazy hats, had a parade and then read the 500 hats of Bartholomew Cubbins.
I helped roll the hat to size and Heather decorated.. we think she did an excellent job!! Hat maker may need to be added to her great skills list :)
the dragon fly is actually a part from a curtain tie back that didnt work well on her curtain but did an excellent job to help make the hat the right size :)

our proud little hat maker! she was so proud of her self and that makes us so happy!
All the kiddos had a blast and told each other what they liked about each others hats :)
I love how her school makes education so much fun!

Being a girl is absolutely the most fun!!! This weekend we went to the most adorable and fun tea party.  The girls brought their dolls and both girls and boys were all dressed up for the fun.
Heather, Zoe and Eden.. these 3 girls are the most amazing girls in the world and are definitely going to make the world a better place!

One must have a proper hat for tea

the girls were given roses and boa's while the boys had vest and ties for the princess/ prince walk :)

New Year.. New Adventures

You know we love our adventures so there is no better way to start the year than by taking a little off road adventure :)
we had to stop and play in the snow, the day before it was a blanket of white
our friend was throwing a snowball at Kev and Heather was cracking up because he didnt know the snowball was coming right for him...

someone was very excited!!

had to check for more snow

jeeps love the dirt roads...

we decided not to continue on this road.. this part was good but it got a bit rough after this and we weren't all that familiar with the area.. save that for another day when we have a map =)
embrace the adventures of the New Year :)

The Man in Red...

We went to visit the man in Red after Heather had her sing along for the book fair for her school =) As you can see Heather was very excited!! She was able to chat with Santa for about 5 minutes and told him what she would like for Christmas, what kind of cookies did he and Rudolph like. After the picture she was singing all I want for Christmas is my two front teeth so I can wish you ... a Merry Christmas :) you may not be able to see the missing teeth in this picture but you can up close.
