Fabulous 5!!

Its official.. Heather has gone from little girl to an official big kid! she turned the fabulous 5 on Sunday!! Its a bit hard to believe that she's 5 already but it has been one of the most enjoyable, fun, loving amazing adventure we have ever been on! We cant wait to see what is ahead for us this year

she made a wish that she said would always keep in her heart (she knows the best wishes stay there if you truly want them to come true)

all the times that we have been to the fair plex the 2 story carousel is never working so we were very excited to see it going.. Heather of course wanted to be up top :)

this lady was so sweet and explained some pirate things for Heather and then let us know that Jack Sparrow was on his way.. the girls were so excited! 

(H was trying to make an aarrgghh face) this guy was great!!! he had the moves and the voice down!! 

learned some things about trees from the talking/walking tree 

this freaked me out a little.. there's suppose to be a boa constrictor in there.. not to sure where it went.. yikes!

what an amazing weekend!! Heather enjoyed celebrating her birthday for 3 days!!! We are so proud of our little girl (I mean big kid) she amazes us every day

Back to School...

Its official.. our little girl is a Bulldog! Heather started kindergarten last Thursday and is very proud to be a bulldog! As you can tell Dingo wanted to go with her

it doesnt seem that long ago that she was this small tiny little girl.. time flies when you are having fun! 

Heather loves her school, teacher and has made some very nice new friends. Thankfully all has went well and to be honest.. it was harder on me than her :) After I signed her in she was off and playing with her friends..dont even think she noticed I had to leave :) 

in other silly summer news.. we went to the Santa Ana zoo which is such a great fun place for kids!! Heather needed a little help w/ the drinking fountain.. she got a drink and washed her face LOL 

we filled up our old waterbed mattress w/ air and the kids just loved it!!! the other neighborhood kids came over later for more jumping fun :) 

and of course we had to visit the dragon fly park .. we call it this because the teeter-totter looks like a dragon fly. We did 3 parks in one day just for fun! 

got to love summer!!

Summer Fun

Summer must really be my favorite time of the year! Fun in the sun every day I just wish we could all have summer breaks =) that would be awesome! 

Our friends had a bday party to celebrate Daddy and Daughter's bday (they are just 2 days apart so they celebrated w/ one great party) Shelby turned 2 and Rob turned 40 so they had a circus/ carnival theme

sunday funday!

Sunday we got together at my brother-in laws for some swimming fun and lunch. June is an extremely busy month for our family..Kevin's bday, our anniversary, Father's day, Tracy's (Kevin's brother) bday and a few family friends bday's too.. we pretty much celebrate something everyday in June :) The weather was prefect to be in the pool and Heather is doing so good w/ her swimming..we are pretty proud of her!

this is the look of determination.. she wants to surf so badly and knows she cant until she a stronger swimmer so in the mean time she's using the boogie board to make waves and control the board :) its a good start

Texas Time...

Heather and I went to Texas for a week to visit family. Heather was able to meet my Grandma, Sister and nephew for the first time!! We surprised my Grandma ... she was so excited!! So many fun adventures
We got to go to this wild animal safari place called fossil rim and even got to ride in the back of my Dad's truck.. Heather was so excited to feed the Zebras and see the giraffes
so many good memories.. it was a very exciting trip! Heather wants a horse even more now! Her cousin taught her how to feed his horses and we went to a rodeo too. H asked a few of the cowboys why they didnt stay on the bulls longer.. if only I had a picture of their faces!! priceless!! they did say they would try better next time :) :)

We love the plane ride and had some great views and even got to see what the top of a cloud looks like!! What an amazing experience!!
