Feb Fun!!

I cant believe Feb is already here! the year is zooming by so fast but that doesn’t stop us from having fun every chance we get =) Last weekend my friend Lisa and I took our girls bowling, Heather and Zoe loved it! and we loved that we didn’t have to rent those smelly shoes for them. They put up bumpers and have a little stand that you put the ball on and then the girls can push the ball down the lane. They got to the point where they could carry the ball to the stand all by themselves.. our little independent girls! Then we had lunch at the airport which was fun! The next day The Hannah’s headed off to the santa fe dam to check it out…believe it or not Kev and I hadnt been there before so it was fun for all of us to check out.
After bowling the girls wanted to go driving =) even though they couldn’t reach the pedals they had a blast
the weather was great.. to bad the water didn’t look that good

you just know we had to run through the birds.. Heather was cracking up!
so the not so fun part of the weekend.. having to buy a new washer! OUCH! but Heather got a new fort and loves it!! I just love her imagination!!!!!!

Kev finally decided on the shocks he wanted and got them.. we are so excited! arent they beautiful =)

my creative side blossomed (haha!) Heather and I traced our hands and made a flower for Kev and then asked him to be our Valentine.. he said YES of course!

these yummy delights are what Heather added to her pals valentine bags.. arent they cute! Thanks Nestle! all I had to do was break them apart and cook them.. well and I tried 1 just to make sure they were ok =)

The Hiking Hannah adventures continue…

yep, you guessed it.. another gorgeous weekend meant another great hike for the happy Hannah Family! It really is nice to just step back and enjoy whats around you.. it gets rid of a lot of stress, good exercise and a great time with your family! what more do you need on a weekend right!! (well, other than those fairytale mice to come over and clean my house  etc LOL ..)

the other day Heather asked me if she could have a cookie and then I hear some crackling noise.. guess she figured I was going to say yes huh! now we know who the cookie monster is LOL these are the “who-nu” cookies.. and for being a healthy type cookie.. they’re actually really good.

a hiking we will go..

we have been doing a little hike every weekend.. the weather has been so nice lately, a little chilly sometimes but nice! This hike we headed over to Azusa Canyon. We made a stop at the sporting goods store and bought our adventure pass and then headed to the hills. It was so beautiful, the water was chilly but it didn’t stop our pup  from diving in. We hiked around the stream and then headed over to the rincon trail to check out more.

later that day Kev gave Heather a lesson about camber (how the wheels align) She just loves to help with anything we do! She’s a total Daddy’s girl!

we love our little adventures! its only a few hours and we get to check out all this cool stuff right near home!

Hiking adventure

 

Last weekend we headed off on a little adventure right in our own back yard.. well the hill behind our backyard anyways =) the weather was just right for a little hike up the hill and check out the view.

this is the castle Heather built for her princess barbie (I helped a little, but she did most of it) I think we may have a future architect on our hands..

the hike was fun for all of us and next time the stroller will stay at home.. Heather enjoyed hiking the whole hill and on the way home we stopped by a house that had the horses, they came right up to the fence to say hello. Heather and Dingo both love horses but since the owners werent out we couldn’t pet them.. Im thinking we are going to be meeting them one of these days..we have decided to take a little hike every weekend the weather lets us or at least a good walk… we take an adventure any time we can =)

Happy 2012

Happy New Year! so far the New Year is going great! We had a fun Christmas and are now ready to get this new year started! We had a little "kid friendly" New Years party at our house and surprisngly the kiddies stayed up to bring in the new year with us. (thank goodness for late long naps!) We didnt enjoy taking down the Christmas decorations but Heather made sure to let every decoration know we will see them again next year and they will be ok until then =) Its been a busy year but we have high hopes for lots of goodness for everyone.
So far this year my nieces have turned 21, Heather's good friend Zoe turned 3 and Heather and I almost conqured the extremly steep hill by our house (we are going for round 2 this weekend) Here are a few pics from Christmas, 2012 pics will be arriving soon... please stay tuned ..

Heahter loved everything about the Christmas tree, she would make sure it had water, talked to it  and just like to be around it. It did smell so good! we were expecting to have the tree decorated at the 3' high mark but she wanted everything at the top

Pretty nails! I found some natural low-order nail polish called piggy paint designed just for little ones like Heather, she cracked up and was sooo excited to paint her nails!

This is Teri, Kev's best friend for.. well lets just say a really long time We were so glad she was able to be in town for the holidays!

Dingo was so excited Santa brought her a new toy! at least someone thought she was good this year LOL

My niece Jessie is silly! but thumbs up to starting a New Year!!! She'll be 18 this year so she's very happy!!
