A Thankful Weekend

Every day there is something to be thankful for :) It was a beautiful weekend for Thanksgiving! We went to Kevin's Mom's house this year (we go every other year) and the kiddos had some fun playing in the front yard and as long as you were in the sun it was nice! 

the trees are perfect place for climbing, sitting and just looking really cute in :)

We found some snow over the weekend too.. it was cold! but lots of fun! 

it was a little impromptu adventure and we forgot gloves so not to many snowballs were thrown but it was exciting when it started to snow on us :)

the extra long weekend was wonderful! Someone lost a tooth on the Monday back to "normal" schedule :) the tooth fairy made a special visit and brought Heather a cute teddy bear charm to add to her tooth fairy charm bracelet .. she was sooooooo excited! :) Now she can sing "All I want for Christmas is my 4 front teeth" hahaha :) 

a weekend in the dirt

What can I say.. we love dirt! Heather has been doing good on her quad in the back yard so we made a weekend with some friends to go play in the desert and let our kiddos play and practice on their toys. It was chilly at night but during the day it was beautiful!

We did go for a family ride which I have to admit it was so nice to be out riding again! 

Seeing the missile out in the desert was amazing!! trying to catch it and all its glory in a picture was tough because the huge glow around it was to faint for the distance I couldnt capture it 

I had written a note in Heathers little journal (she likes to write poems and songs) well..she found it and wrote back :) that makes my heart smile! 

Happy Halloween

its hard to believe it was Halloween considering it was 90+ degrees outside but that's not going to stop the fun! For weeks Heather insisted on being Shine from shimmer and shine (a little genie cartoon) and then she saw the snow leopard and said that was def!!! what she wanted to be :) This little girl LOVES animals :) :)

 These two cute leopards found a little mouse :) Hailey and Heather have so much fun together its so nice to have a good friend right around the corner :)

We had such a great Halloween! and a nice surprise to get these amazing pics sent to us (its so nice to have a photographer friend that just says one day "come have your pics taken" .. ok! found a cute park in la verne  and had a great time! 

Backyard Racing

We may be rednecks if... 

we have backyard racing during the week =) LOL 

Its been a busy day and the best way to unwind.. have a little family race in the backyard. One of the many reasons we are happy to have such a large backyard :)

Fun Fun Fun

We finally made it to the San Dimas Rodeo and it was awesome! Definitely going again next year. My friend and I had a mommy- daughter afternoon and we all had fun! Especially because we got the best tasting Italian Ice cream I have ever had and they let the girls mix blue and red flavor so it would make a purple flavor =) The weather was just right too

the next day we went to the off road expo and Heather found this fun toy :) 

of course we got to say hello to Walker Evans too.. he saw Heather w/ her cowgirl hat and came over to say hi. He's one of our favorite racing legends! 

speaking of favorite racers.. we ran into Rob too :) We wished him luck as he was getting ready to tackle Baja this week 

the sunrise was just breath taking the other day.. loved all the colors

As usual we have been busy! I dont know exactly where the time goes but we always manage to have some fun! 

a 3rd tooth came out on Thursday.. she is missing the top 2 and one on the bottom. She cant whistle as well but still has a beautiful smile :) 

the sunsets have just been amazing lately

someone was happy she won the tug o war game.. I had no chance and I think she was laughing at me here.. :) 

I tried to get pics of the "blood moon" it looked amazing to watch and thankfully the clouds moved on so we could see some of it

Somethings Missing...

A little wiggle here.. a little wiggle there 

a little something's missing over there..

we knew it was coming but werent expecting both at the same time! 

When her bottom two came out they were a day apart and we were figuring the top two were going to be the same.. one was VERY wiggly Sunday and the other was to just not quite as much. She was very excited and a bit surprised they both came out at once =)

This was right after she woke up and checked to see what the tooth fairy had left for her.. she was very excited about the new charms for her tooth fairy charm bracelet :) 

Our tooth fairy gives her a charm to add to the bracelet for each tooth so she can always remember the fun of losing a tooth :) She gets fairy dollars too but honestly could care less compared to the charms :) 

and just in time for school pictures too! what a way to start off being 6!
