March Madness begins…

March is turning out to be one very busy month and no signs of it slowing down..every weekend is something to do and thankfully its all pretty fun stuff! and I think its going to be a lucky month.. Ive heard so much good news for many friends, one passed her board exam, another is expecting, one had a baby, one planned a new travel adventure and another has a new job.. what a great month cant wait to see what the rest of the month has in store!

this truck is the step-side.. its been part of the family for ever! Kev has had it for over 20 years.. it has a lot of sentimental attachments.. its part of the family =)

we went to a bday party on sunday at a place called Amy’s playhouse in Pasadena.. it was so much fun and there was so much for the kiddie to do!

Battle of Primm

Desert racing and outlets…what a great way to spend a weekend =)  although our team wasn’t racing this time Kev , Heather and I went out to support our friends team at the Battle of Primm. Steve ended up  3rd in trophy truck and first in heavy metal! It was a great weekend and a nice little getaway.. much needed get -away too

Baptism in Bakersfield

This weekend was so much fun! We were invited to the baptism of our friends 10th child.  The Lugo’s are a very loving family and we were so honored to be part of this special day. Isabella Grace was baptized on sat at the Lugo’s family church then we went back to their home for a party.  There were so many little one’s running around, Heather had a blast! The bigger kids helped the little ones up the ladder inside the bouncy house and then they all slid down the big slide.

isnt this backyard great for kids! the house was just amazing and you felt so at home.. once you figured out where you were going =) so many rooms but for a family of 12 you need a lot of rooms

Feb Fun!!

I cant believe Feb is already here! the year is zooming by so fast but that doesn’t stop us from having fun every chance we get =) Last weekend my friend Lisa and I took our girls bowling, Heather and Zoe loved it! and we loved that we didn’t have to rent those smelly shoes for them. They put up bumpers and have a little stand that you put the ball on and then the girls can push the ball down the lane. They got to the point where they could carry the ball to the stand all by themselves.. our little independent girls! Then we had lunch at the airport which was fun! The next day The Hannah’s headed off to the santa fe dam to check it out…believe it or not Kev and I hadnt been there before so it was fun for all of us to check out.
After bowling the girls wanted to go driving =) even though they couldn’t reach the pedals they had a blast

so the not so fun part of the weekend.. having to buy a new washer! OUCH! but Heather got a new fort and loves it!! I just love her imagination!!!!!!

Kev finally decided on the shocks he wanted and got them.. we are so excited! arent they beautiful =)

my creative side blossomed (haha!) Heather and I traced our hands and made a flower for Kev and then asked him to be our Valentine.. he said YES of course!

these yummy delights are what Heather added to her pals valentine bags.. arent they cute! Thanks Nestle! all I had to do was break them apart and cook them.. well and I tried 1 just to make sure they were ok =)
