Finally made it with the bff!!

For over a year and a half Lisa and I have tried to plan a date to go to the arboretum with our girls! We finally made it this weekend and had sooo much fun! Every time we would try to plan our little adventure someone would get sick or something would come up. The weather man tried to tell us it was going to rain this weekend but it didn’t.. it was beautiful and we took advantage of the great day! Zoe and Heather are best friends.. and its funny because if you ask them “who’s your best friend” they will tell you its Heather and Zoe!

Family Voting..

We voted last night, hope you did too! Heather was very excited to vote with us.. she was able to put our ballots in the counting machine and they even gave her a sticker! You are never to young to be part of what makes our country great! Our personal political views may be different than the majority but we did our part and voted for what WE believe in and what would be best for our family's future.

Fort Time at Grandma's

Last friday was family dinner at Kevin's Mom's house.. its always fun and the cousins entertain us well! This time they decided to build a fort...thankfully Grandma Diane has lots of cushions on her couch and a big fort building blanket.
Daniel and Heather had a little fun bouncing the pillows off of each other too

and then boucning on them

Katt (jessi's bf) climbed in too for some fun =) the kiddos just LOVE playing with him

the perfect fort

and a little game of tag.. Katt was suppose to be "it" but they had so much fun just running in circles about 20 times before they realized no one was chasing them anymore. It was pretty funny for all of us
Its really nice that we can all get together often for family dinner and since Heather and Daniel are pretty much the same age its nice they can play and grow up close together. Family time is Fun time!!

Frolics in the Fall..

Its hard to believe Halloween is only a few days away... This fall season has been filled with all kinds of fun stuff! This weekend was another busy one for us. Kev is still working on the Chevy and making good progress.. I cant wait til its done and we can go play =)
Here is the rims after machining.. the bolts holes were to small for the new rearend so we had them machined out to make the lugnuts fit =)

say cheese and look cute.. apparently Heather had other ideas LOL

she loves being silly!

this is Kev's dream garage!

Here is Eugene and baby tangled..

our friend Erbono had told Heather she could have the whole bowl...YIKES!! not something a mother should hear LOL

devilish grin..

the day after Heather's hideaway was built one of our trees decided to loose the back half of it, we had to have it completely cut back. The tree guys told us it should come back just fine.. and this weekend we saw new life!! Jimmy's tree service really knows there stuff!

took advantage of our nice fall weather to do some painting

if you look at the bottom of our cactus you can see where Dingo has been chewing on it.. you would think it would hurt her mouth but she seems to not mind a bit! she's crazy!

like mother, like daughter.. we both like to have our jeeps clean =)

and we must wash the pumpkin before painting it too..

Kevin and I believe that it is still safe to drink from a water house.. and as you can see.. Heather loves it too!
I love having fun! I love my family! I love my friends! Life is good!

girly accessories...

http://acraftymom.com/2011/07/23/tutu-hairbow-holder/
I found this site as I was looking for a unique baby shower gift idea to make for my friend that is having twin girls! I love it!! Im going to have to try and make 2 for her shower. I love homemade projects, they give that extra special feel to the piece.. hopefully it will turn out as cute as the ones I have seen. First I must finish my "name" sign for Heather..we have been wanting to have the hanging letters that spell out Heather but I just couldnt find one that we really really liked (and didnt cost major bucks!) so I found on one of the sites that all they use for most is special scrapbooking paper.. well I have that and I have the letters.. now I just need to finish it. As Heather gets older Im going to put some pegs in the letters so she can use it to hang her stuff like her purse or coat etc. Wish me luck! hahaha! This site seems cute so I hope you enjoy it too =)

I finished up the letters during lunch.. now I just have to add the ribbon and hang it up =) for my first attempt, I dont think I did to bad.. now on to the next project..
