More reasons to Love CA!!

More Hannah adventures this weekend. We were out in Calimesa so made a stop at Oak Glen (the apple place) and we found snow!! It was soooo cool to watch the snow fall on us while we were driving. At first there was rain and then it got quite and snow was falling! We had to get out and play in it for a few  
doesn’t that tree look pretty with all that snow on it.. well.. it was then.. some fell on me and then it got Kev hahaha and YES he is wearing shorts, but if you notice they are his long winter shorts so its ok hahaha
Our little snow bunny! This is one of the first times Heather was really able to play in the snow. She loved it!! I think she really loved learning how to throw snowballs.. if I had a picture of my face when she got me with one.. it would have been priceless!! she has good aim LOL

 I wouldn’t want to live in the snow but if I did.. this is my dream house!! Its beautiful, I cant wait to see it this spring when we go back for apple season!

after the snow we drove about 25 min to play in the mud.. we were out for an adventurous day what can I say =)

it was a beautiful day at the top of cajon pass.. had to believe we were in the snow only 25 min ago (or so)
apparently we didn’t have enough mud on the jeep.. Heather put a little more on there for us ..she’s so awesome!

tower seats baby!!! My first time to the drags in Pomona and Kev and I scored some great tickets!
we snuck down to the “special fence area” to watch a couple of passes. We were next to Mrs Force and Ashley Force.. how cool is that!
there was a tribute to Don “the snake” Prudhomme. It was pretty neat to see how race cars have evolved. The Snake was there signing autographs but the line was WAY to LONG! but he was looking good!

Playing in the snow, playing in the dirt and going to the races all in one gorgeous weekend.. just more reasons I love CA! Our little state has plenty of faults (earthquake and political haha) but when you have weekends like this how could one want to be anywhere else! Feb sure went by fast but I think we are ready for March to begin.. Im sure ready for spring to begin!!! hope you all can take a moment to enjoy the beauty of your day!

Where did the month go???

I cant believe it’s the end of Feb already.. where did the month go?? Its funny how fast Feb seems to fly by and its only 2 days shorter than the rest of the months. No matter how busy we get there is always time to stop and play.. that is a must in the Hannah home! Taking time to stop and enjoy life is important, afterall that’s what we work so hard for right? =) Kev and Heather were building her jungle.. every Monkey likes to play in the jungle afterall
GOT MILK? you may have to look closely but there is a milkstache on that cute little face Heather had cereal and milk for the first time and got a little milk on the face too

Bath time fun! Even Dingo gets into the bubble bliss.. well.. with a little help from a little girl that LOVES her bubbles

These beautiful roses were from my amazing hubby on Valentine’s Day. Im not one to want the big bouquets so I get one for love, one for best friendship and one for purity and honesty.. that’s what Kev and I are all about =)

February has been a fast month but a lot of fun! Heather is 18 months now.. its hard to believe!! She has her 18mo check up in a few days and I cant wait to see how much she has grown. Every few months we have a spot on the wall where we mark her height and its time for an update. Kev and I are going to end Feb with a bang (sort of speak) for the first time ever I get to go to the drags and we have tickets in the towers!! Kev got to go last time and this time I was luck enough to get tickets again I cant wait!! Anyways.. hope you enjoyed catching up with our little daily adventures.

Happy Valentine’s Day

The weather was great this weekend so we spent as much time outside as we could! Heather got to wear her V-Day outfit since its suppose to be cold and rainy this week but that doesn’t stop her from playing in the dirt or chasing her pup around the yard =) We enjoying watching her play so much, watching her expressions and how she figures stuff out is amazing. Watching your child learn and grow is pure love!! we are the luckiest people in the world to be blessed with such a wonderful daughter!

a funny moment..

I was laughing this morning as I looked down at my hand to see the other half of Heather's donald duck sticker =) She shared her sticker with me this morning since we both did so good brushing our teeth, washing our face and going pee pee in the potty! Heather is so sweet I just love it!!
About a month ago Heather would grab herself and say PEE PEE so we went out and let her pick out her very own potty and she gets so excited when she gets to go pee pee on the potty. No, she's not potty trained yet and doesnt always let us know when she needs to go and sometimes she just wants to sit there for a few minutes and see if the pee pee wants to happen but we totally encourage every thing about her wanting to go to the potty. Hopefully by the time she's 18 months she will have this down and we can say bye bye diapers! that may be wishful thinking at such an early age but it could happen :) We have plenty of stickers as rewards to help along the way.
I just thought it was hilarious that she gave me a sticker too. Hope the story made you laugh as much as we did :) :)

sunny days in CA are awesome!

This weekend was awesome! The weather was perfect for hanging out with friends and playing outside! Nothing says CA like mid 70 weather in winter LOL  Saturday we went to Chuck E Cheese for the first time and had a blast! Heather and Aaron played every game they could and scored a lot of tickets. Heather like the carousel and the horse that was in a pretend horse race a lot! Sunday we played outside for most the day before heading to our friends house to help them build a screen for their gate. Our friends have 3 kiddos also so Heather had a blast playing with them.. so much so that about 10 min after heading home she was out!

Heather discovered she can put many things in her little pink buckey (aka bucket to the rest of us) such as collecting rocks and of course dirt..but not any dirt, she would put in a few scoops look at it, pour it out and move over and get some other dirt =) you just have to wonder what the difference is but she was having a blast and that’s all that really matters anyways!

Heather picked out her bows and snow boots to wear.. she started with just one bow and then asked for “more” and then “more peezze” how do you resist right? so she got to wear as many bows as her little head could hold

I love the adventures of Heather every day.. recently mamma turned into Mommie and her hugs have gotten even better She is so creative and talks so much we are having such a wonderful time watching her grow up into this amazing little person!
